B a încă, adevărat vă spun că, pe vremea lui Ilie, cînd a fost încuiat cerul să nu dea ploaie trei ani şi şase luni, şi cînd a venit o foamete mare peste toată ţara, erau multe văduve în Israel;

It is true that there were many women whose husbands had died in the Jewish land when Elijah lived. For three and a half years there was no rain and there was very little food in the land.
