D acă un om omoară pe cineva, ucigaşul să fie omorît, pe mărturia martorilor. Un singur martur nu va fi deajuns ca să fie osîndit cineva la moarte.

Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be put to death on the testimony of witnesses; but no one shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness.
