D e aceea şi Eu, voi alege ce este spre nefericirea lor, şi voi aduce peste ei lucrurile de cari se tem, căci cînd am chemat Eu, n'au răspuns, şi cînd am vorbit Eu, n'au ascultat; ci au făcut ce este rău înaintea Mea, şi au ales ce nu-Mi place!``

So I will choose their punishments And will bring on them what they dread. Because I called, but no one answered; I spoke, but they did not listen. And they did evil in My sight And chose that in which I did not delight.”
