M oise şi Aaron au făcut cum le poruncise Domnul. Aaron a ridicat toiagul, şi a lovit apele rîului, subt ochii lui Faraon şi subt ochii slujitorilor lui; şi toate apele rîului s'au prefăcut în sînge.

Moses and Aaron did as the Lord commanded; lifted up the rod and smote the waters in the river in the sight of Pharaoh and his servants, and all the waters in the river were turned to blood.
