F iii lui Amon au văzut că se făcuseră urîţi lui David, şi Hanun şi fiii lui Amon au trimes o mie de talanţi de argint să tocmească în slujba lor cară şi călăreţi dela Sirienii din Mesopotamia şi dela Sirienii din Maaca şi din Ţoba.

When the Ammonites saw that they had made themselves hateful to David, Hanun and sent 1, 000 talents of silver to hire chariots and horsemen from Mesopotamia and Aram-maacah and Zobah.
