C ălăreţul s'a dus înaintea lui Iehu, şi a zis:,, Aşa zice împăratul:,, Veniţi cu pace?`` Şi Iehu a răspuns:,, Ce-ţi pasă de pace? Treci înapoia mea.`` Caraula a dat de ştire, şi a zis:,, Solul s'a dus pînă la ei, şi nu se mai întoarce.``

So a horseman went to meet him and said, “The king asks, ‘Do you come in peace?’” And Jehu said, “What have you to do with peace? Get behind me.” Then the watchman told Joram, “The horseman came to them, but he did not return.”
