L a rîndul său, împăratul David a trimes să spună preoţilor Ţadoc şi Abiatar:,, Vorbiţi bătrînilor lui Iuda, şi spuneţi-le:, Pentruce aţi fi voi cei din urmă pentru întoarcerea împăratului în casa lui?` -Căci ce se spunea în tot Israelul ajunsese pînă la împărat. -

And King David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar, the priests, saying, Speak unto the elders of Judah, saying, Why shall ye be the last to bring the king back to his house? Seeing that the word of all Israel has come to the king, to return him to his house.
