A stfel a izgonit El pe Adam; şi la răsăritul grădinii Edenului a pus nişte heruvimi, cari să învîrtească o sabie învăpăiată, ca să păzească drumul care duce la pomul vieţii.

So drove out the man; and He placed at the east of the Garden of Eden the cherubim and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep and guard the way to the tree of life.
