A bimelec a trimes să cheme pe Isaac, şi i -a zis:,, Nu mai încape îndoială că e nevastă-ta. Cum ai putut zice:,, E soru-mea?`` Isaac i -a răspuns:,, Am zis aşa, ca să nu mor din pricina ei.``

So Abimelech called Isaac and said, “See, she is your wife! How could you say, ‘She is my sister’?” Isaac said to him, “Because I thought I would die because of her.”
