A tunci Domnul Dumnezeu a trimes un somn adînc peste om, şi omul a adormit; Domnul Dumnezeu a luat una din coastele lui şi a închis carnea la locul ei.

Yahweh God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep. As the man slept, he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
