Q uando eles se reuniram em Mispá, tiraram água e a derramaram perante o Senhor. Naquele dia jejuaram e ali disseram: “Temos pecado contra o Senhor ”. E foi em Mispá que Samuel liderou os israelitas como juiz.

They gathered to Mizpah, and drew water and poured it out before the Lord, and fasted on that day and said there, “ We have sinned against the Lord.” And Samuel judged the sons of Israel at Mizpah.
