D ito isso, Davi apanhou a lança e o jarro que estavam perto da cabeça de Saul, e eles foram embora. Ninguém os viu, ninguém percebeu nada e ninguém acordou. Estavam todos dormindo, pois um sono pesado vindo do Senhor havia caído sobre eles.

So David took the spear and the bottle of water from beside Saul’s head, and they went away. But no one saw it, or knew it, and no one woke, for they were all sleeping. A deep sleep from the Lord had come upon them.
