P ortanto, fomos sepultados com ele na morte por meio do batismo, a fim de que, assim como Cristo foi ressuscitado dos mortos mediante a glória do Pai, também nós vivamos uma vida nova.

Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
