D omnul l-a chemat pe Samuel din nou, pentru a treia oară, iar Samuel s-a sculat, a venit la Eli şi i-a spus: – Am venit căci m-ai chemat. Atunci Eli a înţeles că Domnul îl cheamă pe tânăr.

And the LORD called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli and said, Here am I, for thou didst call me. Then Eli perceived that the LORD was calling the child.
