C ând oamenii din cetate s-au sculat dis-de-dimineaţă, au observat că altarul lui Baal era dărâmat, stâlpul Aşerei, care fusese lângă el, era tăiat, iar boul fusese jertfit pe un altar nou.

And when the men of the city arose early in the morning, behold, the altar of Baal was cast down, and the Asherah was cut down that was beside it, and the second bull was offered on the altar which had been built.
