A m auzit cum, la ieşirea voastră din Egipt, Domnul a secat înaintea voastră apele Mării Roşii şi am aflat ce le-aţi făcut lui Sihon şi lui Og, cei doi regi amoriţi de la răsărit de Iordan, pe care i-aţi nimicit cu totul.

`For we have heard how Jehovah dried up the waters of the Red Sea at your presence, in your going out of Egypt, and that which ye have done to the two kings of the Amorite who beyond the Jordan; to Sihon and to Og whom ye devoted.
