N oi toţi am trăit odinioară între ei, împlinind poftele firii noastre, urmând dorinţele şi gândurile firii şi eram, din fire, copii ai mâniei, ca şi ceilalţi.

Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh, obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind. We were then by nature children of wrath and heirs of indignation, like the rest of mankind.
