a şa cum, de altfel, pot depune mărturie cu privire la mine şi marele preot precum şi tot sfatul bătrânilor, de la care am primit şi scrisori către fraţii din Damasc, ca să merg şi să-i aduc legaţi la Ierusalim chiar şi pe cei de acolo, ca să fie pedepsiţi.

as also the high priest bears me witness, and all the elderhood: from whom also, having received letters to the brethren, I went to Damascus to bring those also who were there, bound, to Jerusalem, to be punished.
