D omnul i-a răspuns lui Moise: – Adună-Mi şaptezeci de bărbaţi dintre bătrânii lui Israel, despre care ştii că sunt sfetnici ai poporului şi supraveghetori peste el; adu-i la Cortul Întâlnirii ca să stea acolo împreună cu tine.

And the Lord said to Moses, Gather for Me seventy men of the elders of Israel whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting and let them stand there with you.
