S ă-i rupă aripile fără a le scoate de tot. După aceea, preotul să ardă pasărea pe altar, pe lemnele de pe foc. Aceasta este o ardere de tot, o jertfă mistuită de foc de o aromă plăcută Domnului.

And he shall split it open by its wings, but shall not cut it in two. And the priest shall burn it on the altar, on the wood that is on the fire; it is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, a sweet and satisfying odor to the Lord.
