„ Aşa vorbeşte Domnul: «Iată cum se ridică nişte ape din nord; ele cresc asemenea unui torent care se revarsă. Ele inundă ţara şi tot ce cuprinde ea, cetatea şi pe cei ce locuiesc în ea. Oamenii vor ţipa, toţi locuitorii ţării vor scoate urlete

Yahweh says: Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall become an overflowing stream, and shall overflow the land and all that is therein, the city and those who dwell therein; and the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall wail.
