‘ De ce când postim Tu nu vezi? De ce când ne smerim Tu nu iei seama?’ Pentru că în ziua postului vostru vă satisfaceţi propriile dorinţe şi vă asupriţi toţi lucrătorii.

Why have we fasted, they say, and You do not see it? Why have we afflicted ourselves, and You take no knowledge ? Behold, on the day of your fast, you find profit in your business, and you extort from your hired servants a full amount of labor.
