C ând colo însă, la voi a fost veselie şi petrecere, au fost boi tăiaţi şi oi înjunghiate! S-a mâncat carne, s-a băut vin şi s-a strigat: «Să mâncăm şi să bem, căci mâine vom muri!»

But instead, there is joy and happiness, killing of cattle and sheep, eating of meat, and drinking of wine. You say, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
