S e va lăuda oare securea înaintea celui ce o mânuieşte? Se va înălţa oare ferăstrăul mai presus de cel ce-l foloseşte? Ca şi cum nuiaua l-ar ridica pe cel ce o ridicã, sau ca şi cum toiagul ar ridica pe cel ce nu este din lemn!»

Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw magnify itself against him who wields it back and forth? As if a rod should wield those who lift it up, or as if a staff should lift itself up as if it were not wood!
