T rezeşte-te, vânt din nord, şi vino, vânt din sud! Suflaţi peste grădina mea ca să-şi reverse parfumurile! Să intre iubitul meu în grădina lui şi să-i mănânce fructele cele alese!

Awake, north wind, and come, south; Blow upon my garden, the spices thereof may flow forth. Let my beloved come into his garden, And eat its precious fruits.
