M oise şi Aaron s-au dus la Faraon şi au făcut aşa cum le-a poruncit Domnul; Aaron a aruncat toiagul înaintea lui Faraon şi a slujitorilor săi, iar acesta s-a transformat într-un şarpe.

Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
