D a gingen Mose und Aaron hinein zu Pharao und taten, wie ihnen der HERR geboten hatte. Und Aaron warf seinen Stab vor Pharao und vor seinen Knechten, und er ward zur Schlange.

Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, as Yahweh had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
