E lazar, fiul lui Aaron, a luat-o de soţie pe una dintre fiicele lui Putiel. Ea i l-a născut pe Fineas. Aceştia au fost conducătorii familiilor leviţilor, potrivit clanurilor lor.

And Eleazar, Aaron's son, hath taken to him of the daughters of Putiel for a wife to himself, and she beareth to him Phinehas: these heads of the fathers of the Levites, as to their families.
