E i au continuat: – Însuşi Dumnezeul evreilor ni S-a arătat; te rugăm, lasă-ne să facem o călătorie de trei zile în pustie, ca să aducem jertfe Domnului, Dumnezeul nostru, căci altfel El va veni peste noi cu molimă şi cu sabie.

And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us: let us go, we pray thee, three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to Jehovah our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence or with sword.
