E l Îşi păstrează îndurarea faţă de mii de generaţii, iertând nelegiuirea, răzvrătirea şi păcatul, dar nu lasă nepedepsit pe cel vinovat, ci pedepseşte nelegiuirea părinţilor în copii şi în copiii copiilor lor până la a treia şi a patra generaţie.“
