S ă nu pofteşti casa semenului tău; să nu o pofteşti pe soţia semenului tău, să nu pofteşti sclavul sau sclava lui, boul sau asinul lui şi nici vreun alt lucru care este al semenului tău!“

`Thou dost not desire the house of thy neighbour, thou dost not desire the wife of thy neighbour, or his man-servant, or his handmaid, or his ox, or his ass, or anything which thy neighbour's.'
