„ Când vă veţi împlini slujba de moaşe la femeile evreilor şi le veţi vedea pe scaunul de naştere, dacă cel care se va naşte va fi băiat, omorâţi-l, dar dacă va fi fată, lăsaţi-o să trăiască.“

When you act as midwives to the Hebrew women and see them on the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him; but if it is a daughter, she shall live.
