D avid I-a zis lui Dumnezeu: „Am săvârşit un mare păcat, făcând lucrul acesta. Însă acum iartă, Te rog, nelegiuirea robului Tău, căci am lucrat întru totul ca un nebun!“

David said to God, “I have sinned very much by doing this thing. But now I beg You, take away the sin of Your servant for I have done a very foolish thing.”
