D upă aceea, regele i-a zis preotului Abiatar: „Du-te la proprietăţile tale de la Anatot, căci meriţi să mori, dar nu te voi omorî astăzi, pentru că ai purtat Chivotul Domnului, Stăpânul, înaintea tatălui meu, David, şi pentru că ai luat parte la tot ce a suferit tatăl meu.“

And to Abiathar the priest the king said, Get to Anathoth to your own estate; for you deserve death, but I will not put you to death now, because you bore the ark of the Lord God before my father David and were afflicted in all my father endured.
