L ’indomani Davide si alzò di buon mattino, lasciò le pecore a un guardiano, prese il suo carico e partì come Isai gli aveva ordinato; appena giunse al parco dei carri, l’esercito usciva per schierarsi in battaglia e alzava il grido di guerra.

And David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the place of the wagons, as the host which was going forth to the fight shouted for the battle.
