A nd David rose up early in the morning, and left the sheep with a keeper, and took, and went, as Jesse had commanded him; and he came to the place of the wagons, as the host which was going forth to the fight shouted for the battle.

L’indomani Davide si alzò di buon mattino, lasciò le pecore a un guardiano, prese il suo carico e partì come Isai gli aveva ordinato; appena giunse al parco dei carri, l’esercito usciva per schierarsi in battaglia e alzava il grido di guerra.
