G li uomini della città, il settimo giorno, prima che tramontasse il sole, dissero a Sansone: «Cos’è più dolce del miele? e chi è più forte del leone?» Egli rispose loro: «Se non aveste arato con la mia giovenca, non avreste indovinato il mio enigma».

And the men of the city say to him on the seventh day, before the sun goeth in: -- `What sweeter than honey? And what stronger than a lion?' And he saith to them: `Unless ye had ploughed with my heifer, Ye had not found out my riddle.'
