« Ebbene, di’ Scibbolet »; e quello diceva: «Sibbolet», senza fare attenzione a pronunciare bene; allora lo afferravano e lo scannavano presso i guadi del Giordano. Perirono in quel tempo quarantaduemila Efraimiti.
