A llora Maria, presa una libbra d’olio profumato, di nardo puro, di gran valore, unse i piedi di Gesù e glieli asciugò con i suoi capelli; e la casa fu piena del profumo dell’olio.

Mary took a pound of ointment of pure liquid nard that was very expensive, and she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped them with her hair. And the whole house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.
