A ttaccarono il pettorale mediante i suoi anelli agli anelli dell’efod con un cordone violaceo, affinché il pettorale fosse al disopra della banda artisticamente lavorata dell’efod, e non si potesse staccare dall’efod, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.

They bound the breastpiece by its rings to the rings of the ephod with a blue cord, so that it would be on the woven band of the ephod, and that the breastpiece would not come loose from the ephod, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.
