M osè e i figli d’Israele cantarono questo cantico quando i cavalli del faraone, i suoi carri e i suoi cavalieri entrarono nel mare, e il Signore fece ritornare su di loro le acque del mare, ma i figli d’Israele camminarono sulla terra asciutta in mezzo al mare.

For the horse of Pharaoh, with his chariots and with his horsemen, came into the sea, and Jehovah brought again the waters of the sea upon them; and the children of Israel went on dry through the midst of the sea.
