P oiché i cavalli del Faraone coi suoi carri e i suoi cavalieri erano entrati nel mare e l'Eterno aveva fatto ritornare su di loro e acque del mare, ma i figli d'Israele avevano camminato in mezzo al mare, all'asciutto.

For the horse of Pharaoh, with his chariots and with his horsemen, came into the sea, and Jehovah brought again the waters of the sea upon them; and the children of Israel went on dry through the midst of the sea.
