S tabilirono dunque sopra Israele dei sorveglianti ai lavori, per opprimerlo con le loro angherie. Israele costruì al faraone le città che servivano da magazzini, Pitom e Ramses.

Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.
