Q uelli si recarono dal sommo sacerdote Chilchia, e fu loro consegnato il denaro che era stato portato nel tempio di Dio e che i Leviti, custodi della soglia, avevano raccolto in Manasse, in Efraim, in tutto il rimanente d’Israele, in tutto Giuda e Beniamino e fra gli abitanti di Gerusalemme.

They came to Hilkiah the head religious leader and gave him the money that was brought into the house of God. The Levites who watched the door had received this money from Manasseh and Ephraim and from all those who were left of Israel, and from all Judah and Benjamin and the people of Jerusalem.
