Q uesti sono i figli di Levi secondo le loro case patriarcali, i capi famiglia secondo il censimento, fatto contando i nomi, uno per uno. Essi erano addetti a fare il servizio della casa del Signore, dall’età di vent’anni in su.

These were the sons of Levi by their fathers’ houses. They were the heads of the fathers’ houses of those whose names were numbered from twenty years old and older. They were to do the work of the Lord’s house.
