E stos fueron los hijos de Leví conforme a sus casas paternas, es decir, los jefes de las casas paternas de los que fueron contados, en la cuenta de nombres según su censo, de veinte años para arriba, los cuales hacían la obra del servicio de la casa del Señor.

These were the sons of Levi by their fathers’ houses. They were the heads of the fathers’ houses of those whose names were numbered from twenty years old and older. They were to do the work of the Lord’s house.
