D avide gli prese mille carri, settemila cavalieri e ventimila fanti; tagliò i garretti a tutti i cavalli da tiro, ma riservò dei cavalli per cento carri.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen; and David houghed all the chariot, but reserved of them a hundred chariots.
