D avid took from him 1, 000 war-wagons, 7, 000 horsemen, and 20, 000 foot soldiers. And he cut the legs of all but 100 war-wagon horses.

And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen; and David houghed all the chariot, but reserved of them a hundred chariots.
