N el nono anno di Osea il re d’Assiria prese Samaria; deportò gli Israeliti in Assiria e li collocò in Ala e sull’Abor, fiume di Gozan, e nelle città dei Medi.

In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria in battle, and took the people of Israel away to Assyria. He had them live in Halah and Habor, by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
