V ennero a dire a Salomone: «Adonia ha paura del re Salomone e si è aggrappato ai corni dell’altare, dicendo: “Il re Salomone mi giuri oggi che non farà morire di spada il suo servo”».

Solomon was told, “See, Adonijah is afraid of King Solomon. See, he has taken hold of the horns of the altar, saying, ‘Let King Solomon promise me today that he will not put his servant to death with the sword.’”
